Americans Lack Confidence in TV News, Newspapers

Americans continue to lack confidence in the reliability of TV news and newspapers.

According to Gallup, only 25% have a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in newspapers, with only 22% having such confidence in TV news.

Gallup’s annual Confidence in Institutions survey found that the military faired the best and Congress faired the worst when it came to confidence.
