Religiously Active Couples Do Better

Religiously active couples, including those who pray and worship together, have better relationships, according to a study by the National Marriage Project of 1,387 working-age adults who were married or living together.

The study also found that praying and reading the Bible together was better than just attending weekly worship services together.

“Religion narrows the racial divide in relationship quality in America,” W. Bradford Wilcox, director of the National Marriage Project and a sociology professor at the University of Virginia, said.
