MONSTERS tops Monster Weekend
MONSTERS UNIVERSITY toped a very strong weekend in which the second and third place movies made more than most first place movies make. WOrLD WAR Z came in a strong second and MAN OF STEEL showed its metal in third. THIS IS THE END and NOW YOU SEE ME rounded out the top five.   Disney is on a roll. MONSTERS UNIVERSITY looks like it could top $200 million. That would mean all three Disney releases this year have topped the $200 million mark with THE LONE RANGER set to debut next. That is a very enviable record made possible in part by avoiding foul language and adult material.
