Why Actor Patrick Warburton Strives to Create a Positive Family Atmosphere
By Allyson Vannatta, Senior Writer
Patrick Warburton (THE EMPEROR’S NEW GROOVE) told Fox News he strives to create a positive family atmosphere while raising his children, as time seems to move so quickly.
Warburton and his wife, Cathy Jennings, have four adult children now. He said while the family spent time together during quarantine, they watched old home movies.
While doing so it “Brought them back to specific moments and helped them grow as a unit.”
“It’s so fun to be in the early stages. It really is but they grow so fast because I have four adult kids and it sounds so cliché, but you don’t know where the time goes,” said the actor.
“I mean, I have a 27-year-old son, a 26-year-old daughter, a 22-year-old son and a 19-year-old son. And it’s just gone. You know, we just started watching home movies the other day. And the kids are – they’re loving them and I’m so glad that we got them.”
Warburton was nominated for his role in THE DISH for a Templeton Epiphany Prize for most Inspiring Movie in 2001.
He attended the 10th Annual Movieguide® Awards in 2002.
Warburton is also involved with World Vision and has visited Zambia with the non-profit organization.
