Scenes from the Set: THE CHOSEN Season 2 Officially Starts Filming

Dallas Jenkins, creator, writer and director of THE CHOSEN, is excited to finally be back on set filming the second season of the largest crowd-funded series.
Jenkins and THE CHOSEN team were forced to delay filming due to the pandemic and unforeseen circumstances but are now back on set with the actors, sharing their excitement on social media.
“Now that we’re filming, it brings it all back, it makes it all real again,” an emotional Jenkins said in a Facebook video.
Jenkins explained that the first item on the shoot schedule is a powerful scene from Episode 1 that sees Jesus talking to John about the Creator of the universe.
“The first scene we’re filming is Jonathan [Roumie] as Jesus and George [Harrison Xanthis] as John standing, they’re choosing a scroll to read,” Jenkins said. “And when you’re talking about the Creator of the universe, and the beginning of time, with the Creator of the universe, it’s just so beautiful.”
