- Content: Twitter Censors Christian Author Allie Stuckey for ‘Misgendering’ Trans Athlete Competing in the Olympics

Twitter temporarily suspended the account of Christian author and podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey after the social media platform claimed she “misgendered” the first transgender Olympic athlete, New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard.
“Laura [sic] Hubbard failing at an event doesn’t make his inclusion fair,” Stuckey tweeted on Aug. 2. “He’s still a man, and men shouldn’t compete against women in weightlifting.”
Twitter censored the “Relatable” podcast host by banning her account until she agreed to delete the original tweet and another post which read: “He’s an overweight middle-aged dude that still qualified for the Olympics by saying he’s a woman, so I don’t really think you’ve got a valid argument [that Hubbard’s loss proves biological men don’t have a competitive advantage] here.”

In an email to Stuckey, Twitter added that her comments were hateful and violent and violated their company rules.
“You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease,” the email read, according to Faithwire.
“As a Christian, I know two things to be true,” Stuckey wrote in an email to Faithwire. “One, all people are made in God’s image, no matter their stated identity and, therefore, have immense value and, two, men are men and women are women.”
“Biology matters,” Stuckey added. “Sex differences matter. Facts matter. I won’t budge on this.”
Stuckey removed the tweets but stood by her opinion of Hubbard.
“I believe all people, no matter their stated identity, are made in God’s image and as such have great value,” Stuckey told the Daily Wire. “But I won’t affirm the delusion that it’s possible for a man to become a woman, or vice versa. I’m for fairness, safety and the rights of girls and women. That means acknowledging biological differences between the sexes. I’m never, ever going to give an inch on that.”
Twitter reinstated Stuckey’s control over her account after she agreed to delete the tweets.
“I’m out of Twitter jail,” she tweeted on Aug. 6. “Men are still men.”
“Remember, you can threaten, dox, harass, post porn, spread Chinese propaganda and tweet as a member of a terrorist regime here on Twitter, but you cannot call a man, ‘he,’ because that is ‘promoting violence,'” she said in a separate post.

Hubbard, the 35-year-old transgender male who began competing in female competitions in 2015, had an early exit at the Tokyo Games after failing to complete all three lifts in the snatch portion of the women’s +87kg competition, ESPN reported.
