What You Need To Know:

BODIES BODIES BODIES is allegedly a horror comedy. A millennial lesbian couple go to a friend’s father’s mansion for a wild weekend party centered around playing a game called Bodies Bodies Bodies. The game consists of all the mansion’s lights being turned off and the players successively taking turns to pretend to kill their fellow partygoers until one final “killer” is left. This time, however, people are really being killed, leading all the players to mistrust each other while fighting for their lives and screaming incoherently.

The characters in BODIES BODIES BODIES are so barely fleshed out it’s impossible to care what happens to any of them. The nearly complete lack of lighting might have saved on the movie’s budget, but the dark lighting leaves it impossible to see most of the emotions or actions taking place. If screaming non-stop obscenities and profanities is supposed to be funny, then this movie is a comic masterpiece. BODIES BODIES BODIES is morally bankrupt. It has constant foul language, extreme violence, very strong politically correct content, a strong pro-homosexual message, and virtually non-stop backstabbing, lying and emotional abuse.

The movie is so incompetent and shot in the dark to see any of the killings actually happen, but several corpses are stumbled upon with slit throats and lots of blood, and a woman is thrown over the railing of a high staircase and shatters a glass table on her way to death

Two lesbians engage in passionate kissing on at least two occasions, with one grabbing the other’s sex organs through clothing, another scene features the lesbian couple in full-on yet clothed sexual activity, other people make out, and crude discussion about sex

Nudity:

Many scenes of shirtless males

Frequent consumption of alcohol to the point of drunkenness

Smoking and/or Drug Use and Abuse:

Several characters smoke cigarettes or vape, and everyone but the main girl is high on everything from marijuana to Ecstasy to cocaine, which is repeatedly shown being snorted in graphic fashion;

Non-stop backstabbing, betrayals, lying, and emotional abuse, and the characters are so barely fleshed out that they lack all humanity, making this movie treat life in an utterly degrading fashion.

BODIES BODIES BODIES is supposedly a comedy thriller about a young lesbian couple that attends a party at a ritzy mansion, where a party game about finding a murderer turns into real murder and lots of screaming. BODIES BODIES BODIES is a morally bankrupt, unfunny horror comedy where there seems to be no script other than telling the actors to scream nonstop obscenities and no direction other than leaving the screen as pitch-black as possible so viewers can’t see a thing, coupled with constant foul language, extreme violence, political correctness, a pro-homosexual attitude, and non-stop backstabbing, lying and emotional abuse.

The movie’s plot is so moronic and limited, it can be described in just one flimsy paragraph.

Writers (using that term very loosely) Sarah DeLappe and Kristen Rouperian have created a “script” where the characters are so barely fleshed out that it’s impossible to care about what happens to any of them. The nearly complete lack of lighting might have saved on the movie’s tiny $3 million budget, but it makes it impossible to see most of the emotions or even actions taking place. Al Gore should be one of the ten embarrassed producers, because no other explanation can cover why the movie appears to be shot with zero electrical power. It doesn’t matter how the actors perform, because they have no substance, are usually unseen and portray thoroughly unlikeable people, making viewers wish they never appear in a movie again.

BODIES BODIES BODIES claims to be a horror comedy, but neither MOVIEGUIDE®’S reviewer or his companion laughed even once during the screening. If screaming non-stop obscenities and profanities is supposed to be funny, then this movie is a comic masterpiece.

Shockingly, BODIES BODIES BODIES has 91 percent approval on the Rotten Tomatoes review site, showing the moral bankruptcy of many movie critics these days. Having lesbian leads no doubt helped with the PC critics’ positive approval as a “bold artistic choice.”
