WHEN CALLS THE HEART Creator Brian Bird Signs Multi-Picture Deal with UPtv

Brian Bird, the creator of Hallmark hit series WHEN CALLS THE HEART and WHEN HOPE CALLS at Great American Family, announced a new multi-picture deal with UPtv.
True Brand Entertainment, founded by Bird, Brandon Clark, Tai Truesdell and Darin Chavez announced that the new projects will focus on uplifting, family-friendly content as well as romantic comedies.
Bird and his team already launched THE ENGAGEMENT PLOT in 2022 as well as THE HAPPY CAMPER in Feb. of this year.
Upcoming projects include JUST JAKE, which is currently in post-production and stars Brittany Bristow and Rob Mayes.
“During these very cynical and divided times, when most other platforms are offering their audiences a diet of razor blades and broken glass, we are committed to offering uplifting and values-based ‘soul food’ to UPtv’s loyal audience,” Bird said in a statement. “In this age of a thousand TV shows all clamoring for attention, it’s impossible to break through the noise without passionate fans to help spread the love. When everywhere else on TV there are only zombies and vampires and crystal meth dealers 24-7/365, it leaves a massively undeserved audience starved for uplifting content. And when you bring them what they are hungry for, it’s a very simple exchange: they love you back. The Hearties will go wherever the good food is.”
“The goal for the stories we want to tell can be summed up in an acronym, ‘H.E.R.O.’ We work hard to make films that are filled with Humor, Emotion, Romance and Optimism that the whole family can enjoy,” Clark added of the partnership.
UPtv said that they are excited to bring more uplifting and family friendly TV to their streaming service Up Faith & Family: “We know our viewers will love these fun and uplifting films and want to come back for more.”

Hallmark recently announced the premiere date for Season 10 of the hit show, WHEN CALLS THE HEART, and confirmed that season 11 is in the works.
Season 10 will kick off on July 30, with 12 episodes total.
“I am beyond excited for season 10 of WHEN CALLS THE HEART to premiere,” said Erin Krakow, series star and executive producer. “This season is full of beautiful moments and exciting twists and turns. I can’t wait for the Hearties to see what we’ve created for them!”
