Jonas Brothers Declare ‘Every Person Matters’ Before Concerts
By Movieguide® Contributor
The Jonas Brothers have one thing on their mind as they prepare to perform: “Every person matters.”
“This is definitely by far the most ambitious thing we’ve ever tried to do,” Kevin Jonas said of the band’s ongoing world tour that sees the group performing tracks from all five of their studio albums. “We’re out there playing 67 songs. It’s a gauntlet.”
Before the brothers take the stage, they repeat the same three phrases: “Every note matters. Every person matters. What we do matters.”
The Jonas Brothers are kicking off their tour with two sold-out dates at Yankee Stadium, a venue they have a special connection to.
“We couldn’t really afford to come to games [when they were kids], but I think the Yankees would donate tickets to a bunch of different churches, so we could get access,” Nick Jonas explained. “We would sit way up in the nosebleeds, so it’s full circle to be back here playing a show.”
The band also revealed that they turned down the chance to perform at the stadium earlier in their careers.
“We genuinely thought there’s no way we could sell this place out,” Joe Jonas laughed. “It feels a little bit more special than it would back then, 20 some years almost into our career, to be able to have fans that support us this much.”
As they prepare for these shows, all three brothers have the support of their wives and children.
Nick shared pictures of his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas and 1-year-old daughter Malti on Instagram, writing, “From sound check to the stage with my girls. Yankees night one was beyond words. Can’t wait for night two tonight.”
Kevin’s oldest daughter Alena was also in attendance and ready to trade friendship bracelets with other concert-goers. The bracelet-trading trend began at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, and now it’s spreading to other artists’ shows.
In a video Kevin posted on TikTok, the 9-year-old showed off the bracelets she was “finishing up,” with some featuring her dad and uncles’ names and song titles.

Movieguide® previously reported on the Jonas Brothers’ relationships with their daughters:
The Jonas Brothers shared the sweet messages they have for their daughters about facing the first day of school.
Kevin shares daughters Alena, 9, and Valentina, 6, with wife Danielle and said he wants to remind them to “take it slow and day by day.”
“Try to do your best. That’s all we can ask. We don’t ask for perfection, we just ask for them to try,” he continued. “We’re here to support them.”
Joe, dad to daughters Willa, 2, and an 11-month-old baby, had a similar piece of advice for his girls.
“I want them to be themselves,” he said, adding, “I really don’t need them to think that their dad or their uncles are the coolest in the world. That’s not what it’s all about.”
