KB ‘Honored’ to Collab With Lecrae on New Song, ‘Miracles’

Christian rapper KB recently opened up about his past work with Lecrae and their collaboration on KB’s new song, “Miracles.”

“It was an honor to get Lecrae [to be] a part of it,” KB told the Christian Post about his new song.

Previously, KB and Lecrae were under the same record label, Reach Records, and collaborated on several songs.

The Christian Post reported that KB “parted ways with Reach Records in 2020 and signed on with Sony’s RCA Inspiration/Provident Entertainment. Many wondered if KB and Grammy award-winning emcee Lecrae would ever work together again.

Lecrae held no bitterness toward KB after his departure. Lecrae said, “One of the things I said to KB was, ‘Moving out the house does not mean you’re not family anymore. It just means you’re leaving to start your own family.’”

Relevant Magazine shared a list curated by KB of how he ranks his numerous collaborations with Lecrae. “Miracles,” he shared, is his favorite.

“It’s crazy because it’s just coming out, but I really think this is our best work,” the rapper said.

The Christian Post reported that the song is a remade rap version of “Million Little Miracles” by Maverick City Music and Elevation Worship. Some of the lyrics read:

“I can barely count all these miracles. I cannot be stuck on how it didn’t go. I just count on You…If I start to slip help me remember those. They say won’t He do it yea, He did it though (Yeah). He did it though, and I’m with it though. The feeling goes, but still I know I’m just holding to the miracles.”

“I don’t think I would be here today without God using [Lecrae] in the beginning stages of my career and as a reference in that complicated season of life that we are walking into,” KB said. “You need some people around you that’s been through stuff, that have stood the test of time.”

“Lecrae, in a lot of ways, has [gone] before me and has been able to now tell me where all the traps are, help me to understand how to restore and to heal,” the rapper continued. “Lecrae’s voice, especially in the last six months, has been just this invaluable guide for me in this stage of life.”

“Don’t become so fixated on what you are waiting for God to do, that you forget all He has already done!!!” KB said of the song in a recent Instagram post. “Much love to the man himself @lecrae for joining me on this one!”

“Miracles” appears on KB’s latest album, “His Glory Alone II.”

“It’s still very much trying to find unique ways to get people excited about the glory of God,” he told Church Leaders about the album.

“His Glory Alone II” differs from previous albums because the rapper has had more life experience.

“It’s different in that I am the most developed as an artist than I’ve ever been. I’ve matured in my thinking and have experienced life more as a husband to my wife, Michelle, and as a father to my three children,” he explained.

Movieguide® previously shared a piece of advice from KB:

‘It’s a simple, very elementary phrase…It’s got a little rhyme to it. It is, ‘Do your best and trust God with the rest,’

‘I envision how things should be, and then when they don’t turn out that way, it’s like I’m almost having to attend the memorial service for my dying plan, or my dying dream or my dying expectation.’

‘If you can learn to go as deep as you can with what you can do in terms of sharpening your skills, deepening your character staying sincere…you can be deeply connected to God and continue to sharpen your abilities and strengthen your character.’
