Tim Tebow Shares Inspiring Story of Healing: ‘God Hears Our Prayers!’

Tim Tebow shared an inspiring story of one of the many people he has helped through the Tim Tebow Foundation.
“God hears our prayers!” he captioned the Instagram video. “We praise Him for Jenelyn’s incredible healing through the @tebowcure Hospital in the Philippines.”
In the video, he prayed with Jenelyn’s family: “Dear Jesus, we thank you so much for today. We thank you that we have the opportunity to be with this amazing family. We thank you for Jenelyn and just how much you love her and how you have a wonderful plan and purpose for her life.”
“Jenelyn’s faith shows us that though God may seem far away, He listens to every gentle, whispered prayer,” the video stated. “He listened when she prayed for healing, surrounded by bullies who called her ‘crippled.’ He listened when she pushed through tough times, when her family had to physically carry her around.”
It continued, “Earlier this year, she saw that her prayers were not in vain. She was brought to the Tebow CURE Hospital, where she received life-changing surgery. So many people prayed for her as she started her journey. But her healing process isn’t over yet. She will continue to get treatment for her other foot, and though there is no promise of a pain-free procedure, we know God always hears all prayers.”
The Tebow CURE Hospital opened in 2015 and specializes in pediatric orthopedic surgeries.
“I was born in the Philippines while my parents served as missionaries, and I have always had a great love and passion for the Filipino people,” the former NFL star said of the hospital’s opening. “It is so exciting to be able to provide healing and care for these incredibly deserving children halfway around the world.”
Tebow spoke about the work the hospital and the Tim Tebow Foundation have done over the years in a recent interview with Fox News.
“These are kids that, without us being there, they wouldn’t be helped,” he said. “They wouldn’t be loved and they wouldn’t be cared for.”

In his new book, Mission Possible: Go Create a Life that Counts, former NFL star Tim Tebow shared about the blessing of his marriage to his wife, Demi-Leigh Tebow.
The couple wed in January of 2020.
“There have been so many things we’ve gotten to do together,” the football player told People. “We’ve gotten to find the things we have in common, but also to find where we’re different. We’ve served together, which is the most fulfilling thing. A lot of that has been through my foundation.”
“It’s great to have someone by my side and we can be making an impact together,” Tebow concluded. “It’s sort of like I say in the book: That we have to make the right choices to fulfill our responsibilities and really make a difference in the world.”
