‘Make A Difference’: Dave And Jenny Marrs Announce SUSTAINABILITY SERIES

FIXER TO FABULOUS’ Dave and Jenny Marrs have just announced they’re taking part in a new show, SUSTAINABILITY SERIES.

“[Sustainability] is a huge issue, and we can’t kick the can down the road any farther,” Dave said. “We’ve got to address these issues right now…the time is now. Jenny and I feel like [for] our kids, going into the next generation, we have to leave this place better than we found it. And we’re trying to do anything that we can where people don’t have to give up everything to give a better world in the future.”

Jenny shared how their family already works to be sustainable on their farm but acknowledged that many can feel “overwhelmed” by the task.

“You don’t have to move to a farm and change your entire lifestyle,” she explained. “You can make choices right where you are in your own life. And things that are almost common sense that we’ve all heard all our lives, like turning the light off when you leave the room. Managing your water usage. Really being mindful because those small choices that we’re making every single day really do add up. And I think that’s the importance behind this SUSTAINABILITY SERIES, is really helping folks to see that they can make a difference.”

SUSTAINABILITY SERIES is being made in partnership with Daikin, an air conditioning company.

“The secret is out! Daikin is proud to announce the new SUSTAINABILITY SERIES on HGTV hosted by @dave.marrs, co-host of HGTV’s FIXER TO FABULOUS, and Marc Bellanger, Director of Marketing Communication for Daikin,” the company posted on Instagram.

Daikin also wrote that the series premieres October 9 on HGTV.

In addition to SUSTAINABILITY SERIES, the Marrs are also working on their spin-off FIXER TO FABULOUS: ITALIANO.

The show, set to premiere in 2024, will see the couple renovate an Italian villa, something Jenny called “a pinch-me dream project.”

The Marrs family is currently in Italy for a spin-off of their popular HGTV show called FIXER TO FABULOUS: ITALIANO.

“Dave and Jenny’s loyal fan base comes back season after season for their incredible Bentonville overhauls,” Loren Ruch, Head of Content at HGTV, said in a statement about the new show. “We can’t wait to showcase the Marrs as their fans have never seen them before, completely out of their element for a remarkable renovation set in the stunning Tuscan countryside.”

Marrs also spoke about FIXER TO FABULOUS: ITALIANO with Closer, revealing they’ll be working on a friend’s home.

“Our family and their family are very close, and we’ve known them for many, many, many years and it’s going to be a really fun, creatively challenging experience,” she shared.
