Jon Voight Shares Scripture Amid Israel Attacks: ‘Let My People Go’

Oscar winner Jon Voight shared scripture amid the recent attacks on Israel, something the actor calls the “Hamas Holocaust.”

On his X page, the actor shared a message from the Old Testament to provide hope.

“Let me read something for you,” he began. “Israel, I love you. Israel will stand tall for the land of its sacred soil. These sick-minded beings have been evil since birth; they’re trained to destroy. God’s power, along with the Israeli army, will end this destruction and the power of this evil. It will be destroyed once and for all so the Jewish people can be in peace, live in safety — to live life. L’Chaim.”

“Let me assure you by the almighty power of God and the power of Moses, who once stood in the power of evil forces, that this is the Holocaust,” Voigt added. “It’s the horror that was witnessed by the Jews of Auschwitz, and I have come now to warn the evil ones that God will show truths again. He shall win this war for His people, as when Moses was able to lift the Red Sea.”

“The memory of this Hamas Holocaust will haunt all, but we shall heal; we shall make sure this will never happen again. The world is mourning with you, Israel,” he expressed. “And the U.S. stands with you and, as Moses says, let our people go. Much love to you, Israel. Much love.”

According to CBN’s Faithwire, “Voight’s message comes amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, the terrorist group governing the Gaza Strip. The death toll in Israel, which is continuing to climb, has reached at least 1,200 civilians dead, at least 170 soldiers slain, and more than 3,500 Israelis wounded.”

There is no denying that this is a spiritual battle that Satan has conjured up between the Hamas terrorist organization and the Israeli people.

Despite the horrific attacks, many are clinging to the hope of Jesus Christ.

The branch director for Jews for Jesus in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Eli Birnbaum, said, “What can we do to represent the Lord as our nation is in crisis? Please pray for us, that we choose wisely how to shine his light in a very dark place right now.”

Grace Al-Zoughbi, a Palestinian theological educator, declared that prayer is the answer.

“Lord, take all the evil, smash it as glass, and grind it to nothing,” she pleaded. “In this we hold our hope, that one day soon your ways will prevail.”

Lisa Loden, a messianic Jewish member of the Bethlehem Institute of Peace and Justice, stated, “Nothing about this situation is right or good. But there is a strong desire to see the Lord use these events to draw people to himself.”

Continue to pray for Israel and that people will be drawn to the Lord through the tragedy.

Movieguide® reported:

Actress Reese Witherspoon is heartbroken by the war erupting in Israel and shared her thoughts on the conflict.

“As a mother, I’m having a hard time finding words to express my despair and outrage at the brutal murder and kidnapping of Jewish people in Israel over the past few days. The ongoing conflict and loss of innocent lives in Israel and Palestine is more than the human spirit can bear,” she wrote on Instagram.

“We are witnessing the darkest parts of humanity,” she continued. “As this conflict escalates, I’m praying for the families that are dealing with this unspeakable horror every day. I pray for peace and the end of this darkness. I pray the better parts of our humanity will prevail.”

“As I gather information about trusted resources for relief and aid, I will share more with you all,” she added, saying, “Please God help us find our way.”
