Reba McEntire Says Rumors About THE VOICE Exit Are ‘Not True’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Reba McEntire is putting the rumors about a potential exit from THE VOICE to rest once and for all.
“Please do not click on any articles that say I am leaving THE VOICE,” she tweeted. “This is not true. These are fake websites to lure people in with clickbait where they claim I have a company to sell weight loss gummy products. This is false. I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product.”

The country superstar is gearing up for Season 25 of the singing competition show, where she’ll be joined by returning coaches John Legend and Chance the Rapper, as well as THE VOICE’s first coaching duo, Dan + Shay.
As fellow country artists, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney are excited to spend more time with McEntire.
“Hanging out with Reba is amazing,” Smyers told PEOPLE. “She is honestly one of the sweetest people we’ve ever met in our entire lives. I just can’t say enough good things about her. She’s always been so kind to us.”
He added, “When we were first getting started, I remember Shay had just had his first kid and we were doing a Christmas show, CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS, and she came into the dressing room and took a picture with Asher. We just have so many sweet memories with Reba. But she’s a pro. I mean as famous and as successful as Reba is, she shows up five minutes early to every meeting, always has a smile on her face, great attitude. And that’s something that we can really learn from.”
Chance the Rapper was equally complimentary towards McEntire, saying, “It’s so crazy being on the show with Reba. She’s literally country royalty.”
“It feels like she’s got a very motherly vibe,” he continued. “She’s keeping the show in order because you know me and John [Legend] be arguing. So, she’s just there to keep us in control.”
McEntire has also been having lots of fun during her time on THE VOICE. Movieguide® previously reported:
Reba McEntire is opening up about her time on THE VOICE, from counseling her team on nerves to using advice from other coaches.
“Everybody’s getting along great,” she told USA Today, adding that the other coaches — Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani and John Legend — are “very patient with me, which I’m very grateful for.”
McEntire reemphasized her love for the show’s cast and crew in comments to Extra, saying, “I’m just having a blast. The producers, everybody in the team, just love them all…It’s a fun rivalry, but we have the best time on that show.”
