More Detail:

“Speak of the Devil” may be one of the most positive DAREDEVIL episodes yet. After Fisk publicly declares his desires to rebuild Hells Kitchen and take down the man in the mask, Matt Murdoch and his team are more eager to find dirt on Fisk, especially after Fisk has a good, innocent friend of theirs killed. Murdoch wants to break his cardinal rule and kill Fisk, so he goes to a priest for advice. Does Matt have to kill Fisk to save the city? “Speak of the Devil” is one of the more compelling episodes because Matt grapples with his conscience and moral beliefs, while also wanting to exude justice on an evil man. A priest points out, “Another man’s evil does not make you good,” and the priest strongly declares that Satan is real, but revenge is best left to God. Though Matt strays at some point and chooses vengeance and rage for a time, his decision isn’t glorified. The physical and thematic tension is exciting, and the episode ends on a dramatic note. The violence is strong in “Speak of the Devil,” though not as menacing as some previous ones. Strong caution is advised.
