Jim Caviezel Rebukes Wicked Spirits Attacking God’s Children
By Movieguide® Contributor
SOUND OF FREEDOM’s Jim Caviezel is sharing his thoughts on spiritual warfare and is encouraging people to put their faith into action.
“All these wicked spirits that move throughout the world — these entities will pay a high price when they dare get near God’s children, and you’re God’s child,” Caviezel told Shawn Ryan during an episode of his podcast.
He continued, “Every time they [get close to you], they risk being tossed into the furnace forever.”
Caviezel also spoke about his commitment to boldly proclaiming his faith, saying, “I want to love God in a profound way.”
“Our good God, He is not loved enough by us,” he continued. “He will gladly send His armies to protect us, but we don’t love Him enough.”
The actor encouraged people to put their faith into practice.
“It’s what you do,” Caviezel emphasized. “Faith without your works is dead…so many people say, but they don’t do.”
Caviezel frequently speaks about his faith and how it has guided his career.
“The purpose God gave me in this business, I wanted to bring his light,” he told Fox News. “And it doesn’t mean I’m always his light into an industry. And I wanted to do that, but it doesn’t mean that I’m not going to play the devil in movies. Just there’s got to be some sort of moral redemption.”
Caviezel continued, “I may not have any friends around me when this is over, but I’ll have [God]. He won’t leave me. I’ll be looking at him at that point. When I do leave this earth, at least I gave the best I could from God, you know, and my Father in heaven. And I want the world to know I love him. And maybe that’s evil to them. Not to me, but to them.”
The actor told Jet Set Magazine that he wants to make “more films that tell stories that bring characters to some sense of redemption.”
“At this phase in my career, I want to make sure the writing is strong and the creative team is top-notch so that I continue to grow, too,” Caviezel concluded.

The actor then spoke about his desire to create moral, faith-based content in Hollywood.
