YOUNG SHELDON Actor Says He Was ‘Put on This Earth to Be a Father’

YOUNG SHELDON and GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE star Montana Jordan says he “can’t get enough” of being a dad.

During an episode of THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW, Barrymore brought up parenting. Jordan has a 4-month-old daughter named Emma Rae.

“What surprises you the most about this most meaningful endeavor?” she asked.

Jordan replied, “I’m good at going with the flow, so I wouldn’t say anything surprises me. I feel like I was put on this earth to be a father, I really do. I mean, ever since she was born, I just can’t get enough of her, I really can’t.”

He previously posted about Emma Rae’s birth on Instagram, writing, “God has blessed me with a beautiful babygirl. Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always.”

Jordan also spoke to PEOPLE about becoming a dad, saying, “It’s been great for me, man. There’s nothing better.”

“She’s 4 months old now and I’ve got two little nieces, a five-year-old niece and a two-year-old niece. So I’ve been around kids and I’ve always loved them, but I can give my nieces back. I can’t give mine back. I’m stuck with her,” he joked. “I’m just kidding. No, but she’s great, man. There’s nothing better than freaking being a dad. There’s nothing better, for sure.”

Jordan is currently starring in GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE, a spin-off of the popular sitcom YOUNG SHELDON.

GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE recently received a full-season order from CBS.
