Preschoolers love GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE, and star Laila Lockhart Kraner is so grateful fans appreciate the sensational hit.

“I’m just so happy and so grateful that I was given this opportunity,” the teen actress told the TODAY SHOW.

When asked if she was surprised by how popular the show has become, she responded, “I mean, a little but also, you know, it’s a great show. I love the show. It has so many amazing messages, so I’m really glad that everybody else also saw how amazing it was.”

GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE follows a young girl who loves everything cats. In each episode, she shrinks down and joins the cat-themed world inside of her toy dollhouse.

Episodes 4 through 6 of GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE:  Season 10 are very enjoyable. The characters interact with viewers by asking educational questions and encouraging participation. The episodes combine music and learning opportunities, making them informative and fun. GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE has a strong moral worldview. It stresses helping each other and working together. However, it has some light occult elements. Thus, Gabby shrinks to dollhouse size, and Mercat has magical powers. For the most part, though, GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE is a delightful program for children.

Kraner takes her role seriously and knows the messages she shares through her character impact her young fans.

“There are always themes about mistakes and learning how to deal with them, and how it’s OK to make mistakes sometimes. So, there’s more of that this season, which is wonderful because it’s always good to hear how everyone makes mistakes and that it’s just really important that you grow from them and continue to try,” she told Scary Mommy of what to expect from Season 10.

The Hollywood Reporter explained why the show keeps kids and families coming back:

“What sets GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE apart is its emphasis on what psychologist Carol Dweck…calls the ‘growth mind-set,’ an outlook that rewards effort over results. Gabby and her feline friends like to say they ‘fail fantastically,’ and celebrate their mistakes as a stepping stone to success. ‘We wanted to create a character that really modeled that mind-set,’ says Teri Weiss, executive vp TV development at DreamWorks. ‘That element of, “I haven’t figured it out yet.”’”
