Could This HGTV Star Host a Home Reno Show With His Fiancé?

Could HGTV fans get another renovation power couple? Speculations are swirling that PROPERTY BROTHERS star Jonathan Scott and his fiancé, actress Zooey Deschanel, could host their own show.
Nothing official is in the works yet, but Scott and Deschanel both have a passion for real estate and restoring homes. The idea for a show from the couple actually came from Scott’s brother, Drew.
“Drew actually came up with a good concept because Zooey is obsessed with real estate. It’s a show where Zooey looks online [and] we find [random] houses and fix them up,” Scott said in 2021.
He thinks it’s the perfect idea.
“Is someone going to say no if Zooey Deschanel just walks up to their door, knocks on it, and says, ‘Hey, this guy will fix your house if you want it!’” he said.

Scott and Deschanel dated for four years before becoming engaged last year in Scotland, and the actress’ two children daughter Elsie, 8, and son Charlie, 6, played a special role in the moment, PEOPLE reported.
“Forever starts now,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post.
Last week, Scott posted to Instagram to celebrate Deschanel’s birthday. In a caption under a photo of the two together, he said, “There are moments in life that test you and try to break you. But there are people who make you stronger and fill you with purpose and passion. That person for me is you @zooeydeschanel.”
