Actress Patricia Heaton wants to reach people through positive and uplifting entertainment. That’s why she and her director husband David Hunt created “Four Boys Entertainment.”
The name comes from their four sons, and the company aims to create “projects for film and television which explore the human condition while uplifting and inspiring the audience.”
“We want to contribute something to culture that’s truthful but is grounded in hope, the hope that we have through our faith, that God is in control, and that all things work to the good of those who love the Lord. We know that’s true,” Heaton said in an interview with the Christian Post.
She added, “That doesn’t mean you create content that’s sugar-coated…but we’re about bringing truth into the world and ultimately bringing hope into the world.”
The company recently released a movie called UNEXPECTED, which is currently available to stream on Prime Video.
“Bob and Amy are at a crossroad: she wants to adopt a baby, he doesn’t. Will renovating a house and rescuing animals solve their problems? Will their new handyman and his son’s pregnant girlfriend be the miracle they are looking for? Or is the solution to their problem completely…unexpected?” the synopsis reads.
The movie tackles tricky topics like infertility while keeping it lighthearted.
Heaton explained, “We had a wonderful book that we optioned. The actual story of infertility wasn’t in the original book, but it was a perfect way to use this really funny, wonderful story about adopting animals and explore the issue of infertility, which gave the story a lot more meat.”
Hunt added that while infertility is a difficult situation for women, he found it important to share how it effects men as well.
“One of the crew members told us while we were shooting the movie how unusual and how important it was that we saw the husband’s struggle, Bob’s struggle. I think it’s very balanced from both a male and a female perspective,” he said.
Patricia Heaton loves Jesus and sharing her faith and positivity through social media.

Recently she posted an encouraging message to Instagram. In it, Heaton listens to an audio clip that says, “Those who understand that the best revenge is none. Because here’s the truth: hurting them won’t heal you, because the real victory is peace.”
Her caption added, “I 🤍 this quote. You may never get the closure you want — give it to God and move forward with peace.”
