GORDON RAMSEY’S SECRET SERVICE premieres May 21 on Fox and will see the star chef go undercover to investigate and save the “filthiest restaurants” in the nation.
After receiving video evidence and information about filthy restaurants, Ramsay will go into the restaurants at night with a black light to reveal the state of the eateries’ kitchens, according to Variety.
“By the time Ramsay reveals his identity, it will be too late for staff to cover up their culinary crimes,” the synopsis for the series reads. “GORDON RAMSEY’S SECRET SERVICE will be his toughest assignment yet as he takes drastic measures to transform not only the restaurant but also the staff, because Gordon knows he can upgrade the menu and renovate the restaurant, but the most important change has to come from the people.”
It continues, “Are the restaurant and staff willing to accept Gordon’s mission, or are they too far gone to be saved?”
Ramsay says he’s worked with Fox on culinary shows many times, but SECRET SERVICE is the most “intrepid.”
“With undercover help and cutting-edge technology, I get to go full on ‘MI6’ with these restaurants…and they’ll never see it coming,” he says.
Michael Thorn, president of Fox Television Network, admits that Ramsay gets a lot of views — six billion and counting, in fact.
“With limitless talent, Gordon infuses each of his series with its own remarkable, distinctive personality and unrivaled stakes, a reputation he certainly upholds with this terrific new concept that will once again keep his fans endlessly engaged,” he said.
The show is produced by FOX Alternative Entertainment and Studio Ramsay Global. Bill Langworthy is coming on as the show’s executive producer and showrunner, and Ramsay will also executive produce.
“I’m always watching 👀 My new series GORDON RAMSEY’S SECRET SERVICE premieres this summer and I’m swapping out my chef whites for the most incredible surveillance kit ever!” Ramsay teased on Instagram Friday.

Ramsay has starred in over a dozen culinary shows and other reality series, like BOILING POINT, JUNIOR MASTERCHEF, HOTEL HELL, KITCHEN NIGHTMARES, HELL’S KITCHEN, MASTERCHEF, CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA and STRICTLY COME DANCING, Collider reports. His SECRET SERVICE series is the first to take on an overtly sneaky tone. It’s his eighth venture on Fox.
Ramsay’s current show on Fox, NEXT LEVEL CHEF Season 4, is doing well. In the series, social media chefs face fierce competition as they face each other in unique cooking challenges, with Ramsay, Richard Blais and Nyesha Arrington as their judges. New episodes come out on Thursdays at 8/7c.
