SWAMP PEOPLE star Ashley “Deadeye” Jones took to Instagram to ask her followers for prayers as her 90-year-old grandmother underwent a “very invasive surgery.”
“I don’t like to do this, but I need Prayers AGAIN, please! Sorry that’s all I’ve asked for lately, but we need them!” the SWAMP PEOPLE star wrote last week. “My grandmother is 90 years old and will potentially have a very invasive surgery tomorrow. Specifically, we need it to be done laparoscopically if possible! Please, God, be with my grandmother and heal her quickly in Jesus’ name!”
The next day, Jones posted an update and said, “Good news. My grandmother was able to get her procedure done laparoscopically! Prayers answered! Y’all are the best! Thank you! 🙏🏼 She out of surgery and resting! She loves the attention so I’ll show her these posts later!”
A few days later, Jones asked for prayers for her daughter, husband and the family dog as they experienced other health challenges.
She shared a pic of her with the dog, Louis, and her daughter Addison in the background.
“Me and the two patients from today! You can barely see Addison under the covers and Ice pads. She hurt her rotator cuff. Not a full tear bc she has full range of motion. We go back next week to do everything we can before surgery!” Jones wrote in the caption.
“Then there’s the puppy, Louie. He has some nausea and an ear infection. His bill was about the same as hers!” she continued. “Mama needs a break soon! Maybe I’ll get to sneak off and turkey hunt!!!! Fingers crossed.”
“Anyways, per usual, I’m asking for prayers,” Jones concluded. “Last but not least please pray for my husband Chad. We will talk about it when we know more.”
On Sunday, Jones updated her fans on her family, saying, “Another hospital visit and another prayers please post.”
“My daughter tore her rotator cuff while swimming competitively. My grandmother is healing from stomach surgery but doing great. The puppy is getting better. Vet bills aren’t fun. Chad is having a heart procedure soon and I’m going to be sick I’m so nervous!” she wrote.
Many of her followers offered their prayers for her in the comments.
“You’ve got this! The good Lord will strengthen all and He knows your needs,” one person commented.
Another said, “Hang in there !!! We will lift you up to God, and he will give you strength and comfort.”
Despite all of the havoc that seems to be going on in her life, Jones remains steadfast and is grateful for all those lifting up her and her family up. Please pray for Jones and her family during this trying time.
