Late-night host Greg Gutfeld will host GREG GUTFELD’S WHAT DID I MISS?, a game show for Fox Nation that will test contestants on their news knowledge.

“Truth can be stranger than fiction, and who better to help isolated Americans catch up on the headlines they missed during an unprecedented news cycle than Greg Gutfeld?” Fox Nation President Lauren Petterson said in a statement about the show.

WHAT DID I MISS? pits four people who were isolated from Jan. 20 to April 13 against each other. The contestants will try to decide if headlines presented to them are real or fake. At the end of the three episodes, the winner will receive a $50,000 prize.

“For these four contestants to learn what really happened while they were living in isolation, they’ll have to get through me first,” Gutfeld said, via Deadline. “Lucky them.”

Petterson added, “We are excited for Fox Nation subscribers to have exclusive access to America’s most-watched late night host’s game show debut as he informs contestants about what really happened while they were completely off the grid and isolated from the outside world.”

GREG GUTFELD’S WHAT DID I MISS? will tape in front of a live studio audience and feature a panel with guests like Kat Timpf and Jamie Lissow. The first episode will premiere on Fox Nation on May 12, with the next two episodes coming on the 13th and 14th, respectively.

The game show comes in addition to Gutfeld’s other shows on Fox, including the hugely popular late-night show GUTFELD!, as well as THE FIVE, which he co-hosts.

“The chord Greg strikes most vividly is people are tired of taking themselves so seriously. They’re tired of being preached to. They want to make fun of things again like we always did,” Dr. Drew Pinsky, a frequent GUTFELD! guest, told Variety. “So much of what goes on in late night is sort of Johnny Carson-esque. It’s old. It’s tired. And they have an army of writers, which he does not. He has a few, but it’s mostly him.”

Gutfeld’s style is definitely resonating with viewers — GUTFELD!’s last quarter boasted 3.3 million viewers, beating out all other late-night programs.

With GREG GUTFELD’S WHAT DID I MISS?, Gutfeld is taking on the world of game shows, and, based on his recent streak of success, it’s sure to be a hit.
