PROPERTY BROTHERS Drew and Jonathan Scott recently surprised staffers on THE JENNIFER HUDSON SHOW.
“Surprise!” the brothers yelled in a clip posted to the talk show’s Instagram page. The pair began running down the now-famous “spirit tunnel” THE JENNIFER HUDSON SHOW’s staffers do for their guests.
Drew and Jonathan did eventually stop to dance with the show’s staff, showing off their moves.
“The @propertybrothers sure know how to make an entrance!” THE JENNIFER HUDSON SHOW’s Instagram account wrote under the video, with producer Kiara Harris commenting, “We were shook clearly.”
While on the show, the Scott brothers shared some details about their home lives. Drew recently welcomed his second child, Piper, with wife Linda Phan, while Jonathan is adjusting to the three cats he now shares with fiancé Zooey Deschanel.
“Piper is nine months now,” Drew said. “She’s, I mean, she’s such a sweetheart, she’s a little darling, and her brother is two years older than she is.”

Meanwhile, Jonathan is putting his home renovation skills to good use for his and Deschanel’s new cats, Poppy, Pickle and Dove.
“Now, I have not only built the largest catio that has ever been built, I also created a tunnel with little cat doors from Zooey’s office to my office. The cats are taking over my life!” he joked. “And I kind of love it.”
The Scott brothers also spoke about their new show, CHASING THE WEST.
“For more than a decade, Drew and Jonathan have made families’ dreams of a beautiful home a reality, and they’ll continue that journey in a brand-new way in CHASING THE WEST,” said Loren Ruch, Head of Content, HGTV. “Now millions of fans will see the Brothers in a different light when they share their strong passion and vast knowledge of ranch living with regular people just like us hoping to make a major lifestyle change.”
Jonathan explained, “There is this massive movement of people who want to leave the city, go to the country and just live that outdoor lifestyle, and that can mean anything from a hobby ranch to a big, you know, farm — you name it.”
The eight-episode series will spotlight properties across Arizona, California and Texas. CHASING THE WEST will premiere on HGTV later this summer.
From a new TV show to their hectic home lives, it looks like the Scott brothers have plenty keeping them busy this year.
