Tauren Wells is reminding his followers that we are all “important to the heart of God.”
“I just wanted to share a quick little word of encouragement to you today, and that is this: You’re doing an amazing job. We appreciate you,” the Christian artist said in a recent Instagram video.
Wells added, “I think, so often, because people see you perhaps on a stage, they think that you’re getting all of the affirmation that you need from that space. And many times, the people in the spotlight are overlooked in other areas. And I just want you to know today that you’re seen, that you’re loved, that you’re valued, that you’re important to the heart of God, to the mission of the kingdom, and that you have amazing value beyond what you bring, beyond what you sing, beyond what you lead.”
“You have such tremendous value, and we’re cheering for you today,” he concluded.
Wells is busy promoting a lot of exciting new projects, including an EP, Let The Church Sing, released in March.
“These songs actually started in 2022, 2023 when God was really cultivating my heart and preparing me personally for this season we’re now living in,” he told CCM Magazine. “It all feels very special and connected.”
Wells added that he hopes this EP and his work at his ministry, Church of Whitestone, will go hand in hand to direct people to God.
“We’re not bringing something better than anything else in Austin — there are amazing churches in Austin — but we are expanding the kingdom through our church, and that’s what these songs are about,” he explained.

Wells is also preparing for the release of his debut book, Joy Bomb: Unleash Jesus’s Explosive Joy for an Extraordinary Life.
“If you’ll give God your greatest dreams, he’ll hand you back a deeper purpose,” the artist captioned a December 2024 Instagram post. “Been working on this book for quite some time now. Labored and prayed over every word. It will release this spring but I couldn’t help but share this milestone of @zondervan accepting my manuscript with all of you who follow and support me.
Wells added, “Can’t wait to share…what all I feel the Lord laid on my heart for this work…Gonna be worth it! I promise. God is so good!”
Wells might be busy with all of his many projects, but the artist is still making time to remind his followers that they’re appreciated and loved, both by those in their lives and by God.
