RUN THE RACE’s Tanner Stine and JESUS REVOLUTION star Anna Grace Barlow have been cast to lead the new faith-based biopic, THE BULL, Deadline confirmed.
The film is based on the life of the late NFL star John “Bull” Bramlett.

The film will be directed by Trey Reynolds, who is familiar with John Bramlett as he also worked on the documentary TAMING THE BULL: THE JOHN BRAMLETT STORY. Reynolds also worked with both Stine and Barlow in a short fiction film.
According to Deadline, Bramlett traded a life full of poverty for an NFL career filled with much success. From 1965 to 1971, he played linebacker and would eventually go on to earn the AFL Rookie of the Year award and earned Pro Bowl Honors.
Bramlett was known for his aggressive play style, which also had a habit of getting him into trouble off the field. The athlete let his violent temper lead him down a path of substance abuse, bar fights, arrests and family troubles.
However, that’s not where his story ended. The linebacker experienced divine intervention, which turned him into an evangelist. Soon after, Bramlett left his troubled past behind and took his wife, Nancy, on the road with him, where the two would spend the next 40 years traveling the world and telling people about the Good News.
“THE BULL is a film about resilience and the transformative power of faith. Tanner and Anna Grace bring a depth and authenticity to their roles that will make this story truly unforgettable,” Reynolds told Deadline.
Darren Moorman with Reserve Entertainment will serve as a producer on the film with Reynolds.
“We are crafting THE BULL not just as a movie, but as an experience, one that will challenge, inspire and move audiences,” he said of the film. “With Tanner and Anna Grace on board, we’re confident this story will touch lives and spark conversations.”
Reserve Entertainment also shared the news of THE BULL on their social media page, writing, “We are so excited for this one. Make sure to follow along for future updates.”
While few details are available, Stine and Barlow’s casting, along with an incredible story of God’s ability to transform lives, will make THE BULL an inspirational movie for all.
