Author Jennie Allen explained why she doesn’t just think revival is coming to America and the world but believes that revival is here as the Lord impacts millions of people.
“I think there’s a hunger for God that is fresh, and I believe He’s blessing it and pouring out His Spirit,” Allen said. “We saw it in Asbury [in 2023], and it’s just spread from there.”
“I think revival is here,” she added. “I don’t think it’s coming — I think it’s here.”
Allen has seen just how hungry the younger generation is for a connection to the Lord through events she has helped run like UniteUS and Gather25. Millions of people have attended these events, and many have heard the Gospel for the first time and given their lives to Christ.
“I’ve been on 17 college campuses with Unite, and it has been ridiculous what God is doing,” Allen said. “We can’t believe it. We just genuinely can’t believe it. And then we hosted Gather25 — we had over 7 million people watching from across the global church, from every continent to every continent, and the unity that was there.”

Having seen so many people come to know Christ, she believes that the largest pull today comes from the Lord’s promise that He is in control of all things. This is an extremely comforting message today as the chaos of the world seems to only be ramping up.
“I know so many people that meet Him and everything changes. All of the sudden they have peace and all of the sudden even though their past is so broken… they find peace because of God and walking through, with God, maturity and stability,” Allen previously told Candace Cameron Bure.”
Allen isn’t the only one who believes our nation is in the midst of a revival. Looking at the success of projects like THE CHOSEN and SOUND OF FREEDOM and the increased interest in even more faith-based content in the entertainment industry, Kirk Cameron believes our country wants faith more than ever as people are realizing the ways of the world make no sense.
“I want you to know there are tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, I think, millions of people who want to go our way but they feel alone and marginalized and silenced,” Cameron said. “They’re afraid to stick their neck out because they know that there’s going to be consequences.”
Whatever the reason, it is amazing that millions of people are turning to the Lord and allowing Him to speak into their lives, choosing His way over the way of the world.
