YouTube Cracks Down on Sex Videos

YouTube, the popular video sharing site, is cracking down on “sexually suggestive” videos.
The site, which already bans pornography, says it will be enforcing a “stricter standard for mature content” by restricting access to what it considers “sexually suggestive videos. Videos containing sexually suggestive content and profanity also will no longer be featured on the website’s “Most Viewed” or “Top Favorites” lists of videos.
An age restriction of 18 or older will be enforced on such videos.
YouTube also said it is enforcing rules against people who label their videos “sexy” or other similar titles to increase their video hits.
In fact, it will terminate the accounts of repeat violators of the new rules.
About 13 hours of videos are put up every minute on YouTube.
