What You Need To Know:
If all this sounds outlandish, it is. The dialogue is purposefully awful and the plot contrived. At one point, the lead actor keeps getting distracted by the microphone boom in the shot. The spoof wears out in the middle as the “one joke” starts to wear then, but it picks up in the third act. As a parody, the movie is very funny, especially for anyone who has seen the spoofed movie genre. However, BLACK DYNAMITE has much violence, some of it played for laughs, but some of it shockingly graphic such as a decapitation and eye gouging. There is also much lewd content and explicit nudity. Finally, the hero is violent and is a womanizer who encourages prostitution. The lewd content and violence in BLACK DYNAMITE are repugnantly excessive.

More Detail:
BLACK DYNAMITE is a parody of the 70’s “blaxploitation” movies such as SHAFT or SUPERFLY. Black Dynamite is a superhero of sorts who uses marital arts and an irresistible way with women to stop heroin from getting into the ghetto streets while uncovering a conspiracy that goes all the way to the White House to shrink the genitalia of black men.
When Black Dynamite’s brother is killed in a drug deal, he learns that his brother was undercover for the CIA trying to stop heroin. Black Dynamite picks up the trail where his brother left off. With help from a group of friends who practice Kung Fu, he is able to stop all the drugs from getting into the street. However, he also finds that there is a conspiracy to distribute a certain tainted Malt Liquor into the ghetto that will shrink male genitalia.
Black Dynamite ends up fighting the mastermind of this conspiracy, President Richard Nixon, in a Kung Fu numchuk battle in the Oval Office. Helping Black Dynamite is the ghost of Abraham Lincoln.
