Brazilian Court Rules Pedophilia Not Necessarily a Crime!

The Brazilian Supreme Court has ruled that adult sex with children is not necessarily a crime, “sparking a protest from the United Nations,” LifeSiteNews reports.

The court on June 23 “upheld the acquittal of several men who had paid two girls, 12 and 13 years of age, to have sexual intercourse with them, on the grounds that prostitution was not covered by child sex abuse statutes.”

What the misguided jurists on the court seem to forget is that many children are forced into prostitution, often by older and stronger criminals or because of terrible poverty. Also, underage children lack the mental development to be able to decide such things on their own to begin with anyway.

“The decision is almost a license for abuse and exploitation,” Ariel de Castro Alves, a member of Brazil’s National Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents, said.

The United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF) also denounced the court’s lamebrain decision.

In the last 30 years, there have been many movies minimizing the evils of prostitution and even a few movies minimizing the evils of pedophilia, or making a joke out of it. Society is clearly reaching a critical mass regarding this evil sexual terrorism by the mass media, while MOVIEGUIDE®’s efforts to redeem the values of the media struggle for every dollar of support.

Please help MOVIEGUIDE® stop media terrorism! The future of your children and grandchildren is at stake.
