The latest assault on Christmas isn’t “Happy Holidays” at your local retailer. Instead, in Boston, a sexualized version of “The Nutcracker” has arrived entitled “The Slutcracker” and has been met by raves on the part of the local media.
This particular version of the classical ballet contains “transsexuality,” pornographic themes, and sadomasochism. The mainstream media of Boston calls it, “provocative” and “spectacular” and they do say it’s for adults. But, it’s the alternative media that spells out the details such as dancing around a large phallus instead of a Christmas tree, and transsexual strippers instead of sugar plum fairies and mouse soldiers.
To quote one alternative media source, “Young dreamer Clara finds a sex toy waiting for her under the Christmas tree. It leads her to a kinky-freaky-sexy land where she discovers the true meaning of Christmas.”
