Once again, the Golden Globes, run by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (a group with only about 80 members), pretty much ignored family movies and movies with strong Christian themes in its recent nominations on Dec. 15.
Family movies were mostly nominated only in the animation category. THE BLIND SIDE, one of the most critically acclaimed movies with strong Christian content, only received nominations for Best Actress in a Drama (Sandra Bullock).
Only the 18th Annual Movieguide® Faith & Values Awards Gala on Feb. 23, 2010 will honor the best, most inspiring, and most family-friendly movies of the year.
