San Fransisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy just married his college sweetheart, Jenna Brandt, on March 9, and the couple are excited to “grow together in Christ.”

“Best day of our lives? I get to call my best friend my HUSBAND for forever and ever!!!!” Jenna posted on Instagram.

“I love you Mrs. Purdy❤️,” the quarterback commented.

Per CBN News, “The couple said their marriage vows before 350 guests, just seven months after they became engaged in south Florida and almost a month after the San Francisco 49ers played the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2024 Super Bowl.”

“My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!” Brock posted after proposing last July.

Jenna responded, “WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy – I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”

Nearly six months after their engagement, Purdy found himself playing in the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, the 49ers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in a thrilling game that ended in overtime.

After the game, Purdy took responsibility for not leading the offense like he should have.

“We had opportunities to sort of lap them and get up on them and I think we failed to do that,” Purdy said, per CBN News. “Moving forward with my career and if you get blessed enough to get in this position again, I think you have to understand that…and I learned the hard way.”

Despite the loss, he’s holding onto his faith. “Won together and lost together. Did it with my boys. Keep the Faith,” he posted.

Movieguide® previously reported on Purdy:

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy explained that faith in Jesus, not fame or success, makes life worth living.

In a video for Sports Spectrum, the quarterback discussed how his mindset needed to change after he landed his role in the NFL.

“I didn’t want to grip on to this life of, ‘My gosh, I’m in the NFL. I have a starting quarterback role. I can’t lose it,’” he began. “That was flipped. I was reminded, you know, of what Jesus told us thousands of years ago in terms of don’t try to hold on to your life. You’re going to lose it, you know, and the world wants you to go this way or that way.”
