An 8-year-old girl wowed attendants of a recent Miami Heat basketball game with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” ahead of the game.
Pranysqa Mishra’s first performance was ahead of a Washington Wizards game. Since then, she has performed at a Miami Marlins game, for the LA Lakers and other NBA teams.
“I started singing when I was about four years old,” she told Fox & Friends in a recent interview. “From there, I started singing for the community.”
Mishra said that some of the Miami Heat basketball players took time to stop and say hello while she rehearsed for her performance.
Fox News reported:
Her family moved from Canada to Florida, they told media outlets earlier, to help support and nurture her talent…
She said she feels “proud and honored” when she sings “The Star-Spangled Banner,” she told “Fox & Friends Weekend,” “for my country and my veterans.”
