A.I. as Your ‘god’

Humanity is flawed. The Bible refers to “original sin.” The nightly news gives a daily report on human inhumanity.
Artificial intelligence can help solve countless human problems. It will be able to identify those with a high potential to be a danger to society. Those who would be school shooters can be identified and helped before they get to the point of killing anyone.
A.I. will take away may jobs but can help steer people to new jobs that fit their personality and potential. At this very moment you are reliant on artificial intelligence if you have a bank account, buy groceries or use phones and computers. Your dependence will grow greater.
Artificial intelligence will map human happiness and health levels and learn what makes different people happy and healthy. Just as YouTube is programmed to offer you videos that interest you. A.I. will be able help you find healthy food you can love and entertainment that makes you a better person.
There is the danger that wicked people use A.I. for mind control to shape you into what they want, but even if A.I. was entirely benevolent it runs the risk of directing your life. In a benevolent A.I. world it would be looking to please you. You could get a beautiful sex robot that never ages or argues. You could get one that looks like an underage girl. This would be socially destructive. We’re already headed for depopulation.
Humans could be sent into fantasy worlds that totally waste their humanity. To some extent they already are with television and video games.
What the world really needs is wisdom that comes from the Creator of the universe. What would actually make the world better is people conscious of their relationship to God. They need to grasp the reason they exist. They need to value unselfishness and civility. They need to love and honor marriage and family.
If you look for the next thing to make you happy at Amazon, on Google or YouTube, you’re likely to be directed away from God. You’ll be tempted to seek your own pleasure rather than your God given purpose. Hedonism offers moments of pleasure that fade and become a form of slavery. A proper relationship to your Father God leads to a life of service and happiness. Being a grandparent in a strong, intact family brings great joy and honor.
Artificial intelligence is not evil. It will increase productivity to the point everyone on earth can experience high living standards, but only if it’s used with integrity. If it’s used by evil people to pursue evil, it could lead to something worse than the worst movie you’ve ever seen.
NOW is the time to harness A.I. and regulate its use based on morality defined by God – the Creator of the universe.
