ACLU Sues Councilman for Mentioning Jesus

The ACLU and other organizations have sued the Rev. Hashmel Turner, a member of the Fredericksburg, Virginia City Council, for praying “in Jesus’ name” at a council meeting.
“Christians listen to non-Christian prayers,” said Dr. Gary Cass of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and author of CHRISTIAN BASHING, “so why are Christians singled out and told what they can or cannot pray?”
The case is being heard March 19 after our print deadline.
