Actress Reflects on Blessings: ‘God Is So Good!!’

By Movieguide® Contributor

FEAR STREET actress Kiana Madeira is shadowing gratitude to God as she reflects on exciting new projects she has in the works.

“The best kind of exhausted. I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been working on,” she wrote in a recent Instagram caption. “God is so good!!”

Madeira’s video featured Madison Ryann Ward’s song “Amen” playing in the background.

The actress then cited Isaiah 40:31 — “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

It’s unknown what projects Madeira is referring to, but the actress is currently at work on BABY LOVE, an upcoming biopic that she is starring in as well as producing.

“The film centers on Rhiannon ‘Baby Love’ Mitchell (Madeira), an MMA fighter on the brink of self-destruction who battles through underground fight circuits, facing physical and emotional turmoil,” Deadline reported. “When a series of concussions threaten her career, she is forced into an unconventional equine therapy program. Skeptical and defiant, she gradually bonds with the horses and the program’s patients, rediscovering her inner strength and confronting her past. As she heals, she must decide whether to return to the ring or forge a new path.”

The movie’s writer and director, Joseph Marconi, told the outlet, “BABY LOVE is a very special and personal film that combined two worlds — MMA and Equine Therapy — and allowed me to tell a recovery story in fresh and unexpected ways. Working with Kiana in the lead role was miraculous; she brought a fierce and vulnerable energy to Rhiannon Mitchell that elevated the film.”

Madeira frequently shares her faith with her social media followers.

In one post, she reflected on a recent trip to the Amazon, writing, “I am in awe of this magical place. The intricacies of nature are both wonderfully complex and perfectly simple. I am convinced that God has created all living things to co-exist in harmony.”

In another, she reminded followers to be confident in the way God made them.

“I have this theory that humans will always look their best when they rock what God gave them naturally,” Madeira wrote. “It’s so incredibly tempting to change what is natural about us and in a society that promotes this more than ever, I encourage and challenge us all to resist the urge to change. Your nose is perfect, your face shape is perfect, your hair texture is perfect, your body is perfect. Is anyone else tired of entertaining the idea that we are not enough? Let’s fight against it. Let’s be the generation that said enough is enough. We are enough.”
