AGT Host Terry Crews Joins Fight to End Sex Trafficking

Actor Terry Crews has teamed up with Equal Model New York to end the fight against sex trafficking.
In the video Terry Crews narrated a video that is all about end demand and end sex trafficking.
Equal Model NY shared a reel on their Instagram and captioned, “For our new video campaign, we’ve teamed up with actor, activist and sexual assault survivor- @terrycrews to break down the supply/demand model of the sex trade and its effect on sex trafficking.In order to shrink the exploitative industry of prostitution and curb sex trafficking we must tackle the demand for it, which is primarily fueled by male sex buyers. The patriarchal system of prostitution promotes toxic masculinity and a culture where woman and girls are treated less than human.”
Equal Model NY continued, “Terry is a strong advocate against sex trafficking and for the promotion of women’s rights. He recognizes the role toxic masculinity plays in keeping these exploitive industries alive and the need to change perspectives. It is incredibly important that more men engage in conversations about sex trafficking and prostitution which are not solely women’s issues, but human rights issues. Let’s flip the script and have men be part of the solution to end sexual exploitation, and not the cause. Equal Model NY is an organization that is dedicated to “preventing regressive legislation that will deregulate and expand one of the most violent, racist, sexist, and exploitative industries in our State, enact the Sex Trade Survivors Justice & Equality Act in New York and advocate for additional supportive housing and holistic, survivor-informed services and exit strategies for people in the sex trade.”
Another way the fight to end sex trafficking has been vocalized is through the new film, SOUND OF FREEDOM. Tim Ballard takes viewers on an intense and emotional journey of saving the lives of many children that were captured and used as sex trafficking victims.
Other stars such as Jim Caviezel and Mel Gibson, urge people to join the fight to end this hatred crime.

Sean Wolfington shared a video of Mel Gibson on Instagram. Gibson stated, “One of the most disturbing problems in our world today is human trafficking. And particularly the trafficking of children. Our future is our children.”
Gibson then encouraged viewers to take the first step in eliminating child sex trafficking.
“Now the first step in eradicating this crime is awareness. Go see SOUND OF FREEDOM,” Gibson stated.
