Alfonso Ribeiro’s Daughter’s Recovering After Scooter Accident

Alfonso Ribeiro’s wife Angela updated fans on their daughter’s recovery after a scary scooter accident.
In an Instagram Q&A, Angela was asked about daughter Ava Sue, who’s fall off a scooter required emergency surgery.
“She’s doing good!” Angela wrote to the fan, sharing the skincare products the family is using to heal up after the accident.
Ribeiro spoke about the accident in more detail while appearing on LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK.
“On Thursday, unfortunately, my daughter got injured and had to have emergency surgery,” the actor explained. “So it was a very stressful weekend. She fell and had basically road rash on her face and arm, and so they had to scalpel off all the skin. [Recovery is] going to be a long process.”
The actor also posted about Ava’s accident on Instagram, writing, “I’m so proud of how well she handled everything. She’s so brave strong and creative. I love everything about my little girl.”
Ribeiro also shouted out his wife, saying he was “forever grateful” to her for “being so amazing during this time.”
