Prime Video just announced DARK WOLF, a prequel series for THE TERMINAL LIST that will star Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch.
“From the Producers of #TheTerminalList and NYT Bestselling author @jackcarrusa,” Prime Video’s Instagram account posted. “Introducing THE TERMINAL LIST: DARK WOLF, a prequel series featuring Ben Edwards and James Reece. Production begins early this year.”
Deadline reported, “Co-created by ‘The Terminal List’ author Jack Carr and Season 1 creator-showrunner David DiGilio, the prequel, greenlighted last February, is an elevated espionage thriller that takes viewers on Edwards’ journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.”
Pratt has previously spoken about his involvement with the prequel.
“To the rabid fans of THE TERMINAL LIST out there, you have nothing to worry about,” he said during an appearance on Jack Carr’s “Danger Close” podcast. “We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well. We are working away.”
Movieguide® previously reported on THE TERMINAL LIST’s success with viewers:
THE TERMINAL LIST author Jack Carr clapped back at the 43 percent critic score for Amazon’s #1 Prime Video series of the same name on Tucker Carlson’s show last Friday.
Though the show has garnered a low critic score, audiences love THE TERMINAL LIST.
“The 95 percent viewer rating, audience rating, makes it all worth it,” Carr said. “We didn’t make it for the critics. We made it for those in the arena. We made it for the soldier, sailor, airman and Marine that went downrange to Iraq and Afghanistan, so they could sit on the couch and say, ‘Hey, these guys put in the work. They put in the effort to make something special and make a show that speaks to them.’ And that 95 percent rating lets me know that we at least got close.”
