Americans Pick Bible as Best

Americans of all demographic groups picked the Bible as their favorite book of all time, according to Harris Poll.
About 92% of Americans own a Bible, with the average household owning four. According to THE NEW YORKER, Bible publishers sell 25 million copies of the Bible each year. Also, 45% of Americans say they read the Bible weekly.
GONE WITH THE WIND by Margaret Mitchell was named the second favorite book of all time, followed by J.R.R. Tolkien’s LORD OF THE RINGS.
