Renowned Italian singer Andrea Bocelli has joined voices with Lauren Daigle for his new single, “Canto Della Terra.”

“This duet is part of Bocelli’s…Duets (30th Anniversary) album,” The Christian Beat reported. Bocelli originally released the song on his 1999 album, Sogno.

Last month, Movieguide® reported Daigle’s sentiments about the collaboration:

Christian artist Lauren Daigle is set to join Andrea Bocelli for his upcoming 30-year anniversary concert.

“Feeling incredibly honored and grateful to be invited to sing at such a special celebration,” Daigle posted on Instagram. “Sharing this moment with so many amazing people is a true privilege, and I’m beyond excited to be a part of it. Thank you, Andrea. Music has the power to connect us all, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful evening. Can’t wait for you all to see! Coming to theaters this November.”

Daigle’s performance with Bocelli will be shown in a new documentary about the acclaimed vocalist, titled ANDREA BOCELLI 30: THE CELEBRATION.

A press release said the documentary is a recording of Bocelli’s anniversary concert.

“Confirmed performers include Ed Sheeran, Brian May, Shania Twain, Jon Batiste, Russell Crowe, Sofia Vergara, David Foster, Christian Nodal, Sofia Carson, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, Giorgia, Matteo Bocelli and classical superstars Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Lang Lang, Aida Garifullina, and Nadine Sierra.”

It was held in July at the Teatro del Silenzio (Theater of Silence) in Tuscany, Italy.

“To celebrate the 30th anniversary of my career at Teatro del Silenzio, a place that means so much to me, with artists and friends is an honor,” said Bocelli. “To be able to share this unforgettable event with the world in cinemas is beyond my greatest dreams.”

Bocelli’s Duets album doesn’t come out until Oct. 25. Other artists featured on the 32-track list are Celine Dion; Stevie Wonder; Jennifer Lopez; Ed Sheeran; Bocelli’s son, Matteo Bocelli, and many other artists.

“The album features duets spanning my 30 year career with the addition of new songs recorded especially for the album,” Bocelli said.

“To mix voices, mix the vibrations, is for me a very exciting experience, sensual and spiritual at the same time. Something intimate and deep is established between the two voices that sing a duet. We singers are in constant search of colleagues able to give life to this alchemy,” Bocelli added.
