Beau Knapp to Star in SEAL TEAM’s Final Season

Actor Beau Knapp is taking part in SEAL TEAM as Officer Drew Franklin, a regular character in the seventh and final season of the show.
For six seasons, SEAL TEAM has run through the lives of elite Navy SEALS as they serve their country and carry out risky missions.
Now, “Knapp will play Drew Franklin, a Chief Petty Officer with a checkered history at Command whose placement on Bravo Team is a sign of their problem-child status in the eyes of the DEVGRU powers that be. A smooth talker who exploits every angle to his own advantage, Drew revels in the mystery and rumors that surround him,” Deadline reported.
SEVEN SECONDS, THE LOST SYMBOL, GOOD LORD BIRD and BLACK AND BLUE are some of the actor’s notable performances.
Knapp is familiar with playing snaky characters. He told Anthem Magazine that he played some “pretty bad dudes.” Knapp acted as a villain in THE LOST SYMBOL, DEATH WISH, THE NICE GUYS and MEASURE OF MAN.
Entertainment Weekly added, “Knapp can next be seen on the big screen in Jeff Nichols‘ THE BIKERIDERS, alongside Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, and Jodie Comer. The film was recently dated for a June 2024 release after switching distributors. Knapp is also set to appear in Doug Liman‘s remake of ROAD HOUSE starring Jake Gyllenhaal.”

The final season is expected to premiere on the streaming platform sometime in 2024. Production will begin this December.
Star David Boreanaz also released a statement about SEAL TEAM’s end, saying, “For six seasons I have been fortunate and blessed to be a part of an outstanding cast and crew. Every day spent was a note of thanks to our men and women in the military and Special OPS. I thank our fans, and I’m proud we were able to make this show to shine light in the darkness toward so many suffering today…”
“I look forward to season seven and the opportunity to end this series with love and gratitude,” he concluded.
