Bill Gaither Says Upcoming Christmas Special Will Be ‘A Whole Lot Of Fun’

Gospel music star Bill Gaither is getting ready for the Christmas season with a new special, “All Heaven and Nature Sing with Bill Gaither & Friends.”
Gaither will be joined by his band, the Gaither Vocal Band, as well as singer-songwriter Mark Lowry, Gospel Music Hall of Fame group The Nelons, and gospel music artists Ladye Love Smith and Gene McDonald.
“We’ve been doing this Christmas program for several years,” Gaither shared. “And it just keeps getting better all the time. They can’t (show) all of it, but they’re going to pick out some of the best of the program and show it on Friday night. We taped it about a month ago. It’s gonna’ be a whole lot of fun.”
Gaither also spoke about his successful career in the Christian music world.
“You know, any writer, whether he’s a Christian writer or a secular writer, just a good writer, even if nobody hears, they just love what they do and love what they create,” he explained. “But it’s really great when somebody outside the city limits says, ‘Hey, this is good. Would you come to our community? Or would you come to our TV network, and do it?’”
Gaither concluded, “All I can say is we have really been blessed and we’re grateful.”

The Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) announced new Christmas specials featuring Andrea Bocelli, For King and Country, and other Christian artists and pastors for the upcoming holiday season.
The faith and family network said that the “exclusive TBN holiday events” will feature interviews with the stars spreading joy through their uplifting music.
TBN’s lineup announcement reads:

Gospel music legend Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band welcome you for an evening of joyful holiday harmonies, with special guests including singer-songwriter and Gaither Vocal Band alumni Mark Lowry, along with gospel music favorites The Nelons, Ladye Love Smith, and Gene McDonald.
Let Us Adore Him: A Christmas Celebration. Fill your heart and home with holiday cheer as the Gospel Music Association brings you an evening of Christmas music and worship with guest artists Steven Curtis Chapman, The Isaacs, Evvie, Christine D’Clario, Jekalyn Carr, Riley Clemmons, Pastor Mike Jr., and more.
Aside from their specials, TBN also announced December programming, including Max Lucado’s UNWRAPPING THE UNEXPECTED and CHRISTMAS STORIES; SIMPLY CHRISTMAS with Mark Lowry; SING! featuring Keith and Kristyn Getty at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House; Silent Night performed at the Museum of the Bible with For King + Country; and more.
