Blake Shelton Prepares for Final Season on THE VOICE

The latest season of THE VOICE is coming out in March and fans can’t wait! Here’s everything you need to know before the season premiere.
Season 23’s coaches are Blake Shelton (this is his final season,) Chance the Rapper, Niall Horan, and Kelly Clarkson.
Shelton is coming in as a champion — his team member, Bryce Leatherwood, won THE VOICE last season.
The country star is also the coach with the most wins. As the only remaining original coach, Shelton has nine wins under his belt. Clarkson comes in second with four wins.
THE VOICE frequently features Christian artists and allows them to sing praise songs while onstage. Movieguide® previously reported on Pastor Todd Tilghman’s win:
Pastor Todd Tilghman of Mississippi took home THE VOICE victory this week after slaying his “I Can Only Imagine” performance.
“It’s really validating, but it’s also really humbling at the same time. It’s hard to explain,” saidTilghman, a father of 8.
Tilghman first stunned judges when all four chairs turned during his blind audition. Yet before he hit TV, he was known for his presence in the pulpit.
Country Living reported, “Since 2011, Todd has been the lead pastor of Cornerstone Church in his home town of Meridian, Mississippi, where he grew up. While Todd has sung in church in the past, he revealed on The Voice that he’s never really performed professionally before making his debut on the show.”
Tilghman was on Team Blake [Shelton].
The pair even sang a duet together, “Authority Song,” from their homes.
The newly crowned winner said of the country crooner, “Blake is also notorious for helping people on his team after the show. And I need that. I don’t know anything about the music world. So, I need that. It’s been great. He feels like a close friend, he really does.”
Tilghman’s time on THE VOICE made an impact on the judges. After one of his songs in earlier episodes of the season, the judges shared their experiences with church.
