‘Abundantly Blessed Life’: Dave and Jenny Marrs Celebrate 19th Anniversary

FIXER TO FABULOUS stars Dave and Jenny Marrs just celebrated her nineteenth anniversary.
“Nineteen years ago today, two kids stood before God and their family and friends and committed to carry one another through the valleys and dance together on the mountaintops,” Jenny wrote under a photo from the couple’s wedding. “They promised to hold hands and follow God’s lead on the wild, twisty, curvy, adventure-filled roads of life. They vowed to remember that love is an action that requires work: beautifully, holy, hard work day in and day out. Then, they exchanged rings, smooched and joyfully partied the night away…”
Her post continued, “Fast forward nineteen years, the bride wakes early to find her groom already at work in his shop. With several deadlines looming, he puts in extra early morning and late night hours without complaint. As their five little ones make their way downstairs, he comes inside and helps brush out tangles and pack lunches and pour cereal alongside his bride. He serves, he loves tangibly, he lives out those long-ago spoken words and her heart is full of gratitude and awe of this life they’ve created together: this messy, grace-soaked, too-busy-at-times, laughter-filled, abundantly blessed life.”
“If she could rewind to this very day nineteen years before, she would whisper in that bride’s ear: ‘this is the first day of the most incredible adventure you could ever imagine.’ Happy Anniversary, @dave.marrs! Thanks for being my main squeeze forever and ever and ever!!” Jenny’s post concluded.
“19 years today! 19 years since we said ‘I do,'” Dave posted. “Without a doubt, the best decision I’ve ever made. God blessed me with an adventurous, kind, loving, and crazy beautiful wife! Thank you for all the wonderful memories @jennymarrs. I can’t wait for the next 19!”
Per Better Homes & Gardens, “the couple worked in the same corporate office, where they met in 2002. When they got married three years later, Jenny agreed to relocate from her home state of Florida to Arkansas, where Dave hoped to make a career out of building and construction.”
Dave would go on to start his own company, Marrs Developing, with Jenny joining him in 2012. After years of success as home renovators and designers, HGTV approached them about starring in a show. Today, the couple are some of the network’s biggest stars, working on the popular FIXER TO FABULOUS.
“We never could have planned it this way. It can be crazy chaos, but we’re so grateful for how it worked out,” Jenny told PEOPLE.

Dave and Jenny Marrs are taking their home renovation skills across the world for their new show FIXER TO FABULOUS: ITALIANO.
“Dave and Jenny journey to Italy’s Tuscan countryside from their hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas, to revitalize a grand villa for longtime friends,” a synopsis from HGTV reads. “The six-episode season documents the Marrs, who first visited Italy as newlyweds, as they execute a monumental restoration of the centuries-old property.”
The couple shared some details about the show in an interview with TV Insider.
“Overall, it was a stressful project,” Jenny explained. “If we were just helping our friends remodel their house in Italy, it would normally take two or three years. But we had a production schedule to meet. We had to try to get everything moved up quickly. That was the biggest challenge, trying to hit those production deadlines with an Italian crew.”
Despite the challenges the Marrs’ faced, Dave said they would do projects like this again.
“We love to focus on new projects and things outside of our comfort zone and do something different,” he said. “Europe for HGTV is an untapped market. I think to see us over there in Italy, Great Britain or anywhere doing a project, I would love to. It’s all ratings-based, so if a lot of people watch this, and it does well, we’ll see.”
