Brittany Aldean Attacked Over Comments on Transgender Surgery For Children

Brittany Aldean, the wife of country music star Jason Aldean, recently came under fire for thanking her parents for “not changing” her gender when she was a child.
Aldean, who is also a model and owner of beauty products, mentioned that she went through a tomboy phase in her early childhood.
“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care,’ is one of the worst evils. I will always support my children and do what I can do protect their innocence,” she said in an Instagram story.
Political commentators and other country artists began a debate on whether Aldean’s comments were justified.
Female country music stars, Marren Morris and Cassadee Pope, took to Twitter to condemn Aldean’s comments.
Morris wrote: “You know, I’m glad she didn’t become a boy either because we really don’t need another a—–e dude in the world. Sucks when Karens try to hide their homophobia/transphobia behind their ‘protectiveness of the children.’”
Candace Owens of the Daily Wire disagreed with Pope and Morris, tweeting: “It’s easier to not castrate your children. But I guess whatever helps sell bad records.”

Owens commended Aldean on her comments, and vocalized the danger that the transgender movement has on Children in particular.
“America is fighting a cultural disease,” Owens told The Daily Wire. “Scores of children are facing literal, chemical castration by parents and doctors alike, who have submitted to the social science of transgenderism.”
“That Maren Morris would attack Brittany Aldean for her brave willingness to stand against such an obvious evil should sicken everyone, and serve as a stark reminder that ‘wokeism’ is in fact, a mental derangement,” she continued. “Our children must be the red line to this insanity. I am calling on all parents to continue to stand against this evil, as Brittany Aldean has done.”
