Brittany Lutz Starts Video Devotional Series: ‘God Wants Your Trust’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Brittany Lutz is sharing her faith journey in a new series of video devotionals.
“It’s really beautiful to see how, when you step out in faith and when you share your faith and your journey…God creates community out of vulnerability and transparency,” she explained.
Lutz went on to say that we shouldn’t keep our journeys to ourselves, adding, “We’re products of our journey, we’re products of the things that we’ve gone through.”
She shared that her new video series will share her devotional, going through 100 days.
Her first topic? Putting our trust in God.
“There is something God wants more than your speed, hard work or mighty efforts,” Lutz said. “God wants your trust.”
She continued, “We’re not in control, so the best thing we can do is just completely rely on Him to lead us and guide us.”
Lutz explained that trust in an Instagram post, writing, “When I longed for a husband, I praised God that every day I was one day closer to meeting him because I knew that God had marriage in my story. In the darkest hours of trying for a family, I praised God for the children I knew He had for us to raise.”
“Sometimes we forget simple things like praising God for what He’s going to do before He’s done it. It is like medicine to our souls to praise Him in faith for what’s to come. This is how our faith grows,” she concluded.
In a recent Instagram post, Lutz shared how she keeps God at the center of her day-to-day life.
“I like to at least start the mornings with worship music throughout the house but especially in the rooms that we’re in,” she listed, adding, “It’s so important that as mamas we take responsibility and authority over the spiritual atmosphere of our households.”
She also called praying out loud “a game changer” — “Our words have power- let’s use them!”
“Having my Bible and/or a devotional visible and accessible is so helpful,” Lutz continued. “No matter the amount it’s always beneficial to get some Word into your heart.”

Lutz also reflected on her motherhood journey in a recent post, detailing the struggles she has faced to become a mom.
“Today- I’m living in answered prayers and am so happy the majority of every single day I could burst,” she wrote. “Even though we don’t always know how He’ll fulfill the desires of our hearts, don’t let what life throws at you stop you from believing that those dreams and desires will become realities. God is good. He is faithful. And He’s always on time.”
