He shared another photo of Amora on his Instagram story, writing, “Thank you, Jesus.”
Per ESPN, “Amora Princess Wilson is Ciara’s fourth child and the couple’s third since they were married in 2016. Daughter Sienna Princess was born in 2017 and son Win Harrison was born in 2020. Ciara has a son, Zahir, from a previous relationship.”
Wilson did score two wins in less than 24 hours. In addition to his new daughter, the quarterback led the Broncos to a 24-7 win over the Chargers Sunday night.
“Head Coach Sean Payton dialed up a play based on tendencies the Broncos found in the Chargers’ playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. Keying off a play in which the Jaguars gave the ball to running back Travis Etienne for an outside run, the Broncos lined up in the same formation and appeared to run back the same play with running back Javonte Williams,” the Denver Broncos reported.
“After appearing to initiate the outside run, quarterback Russell Wilson fooled Chargers defenders — and even his own teammates. Wilson kept the ball, rolled back toward the left side of the field, faked a quarterback keeper and flicked a pass to tight end Adam Trautman, who was standing wide-open in the end zone for an easy 10-yard touchdown completion,” the Broncos continued.
After the game, head coach Sean Payton reflected on what the win meant to him.
“I don’t want to sound shallow, but there’s nothing better,” Payton said of the play that worked just like he hoped. “In other words, you’re seeing something on film from a playoff game a year ago. Sometimes, it might be a clip you see two years prior, and you’re counting on human behavior, and you’re counting on them seeing something and reacting in a way in which you think they’re going to. It was a play that came off a fourth-and-1 against Jacksonville last year in the playoffs. You’re rewinding it, you’re rewinding it, and all of a sudden, you see something, and then you begin to tinker with it, and you put it in.”
This comes at a good time for the Broncos, as they have not had the best season thus far. Their hopes of playoff contention seem low, but it’s not impossible.
Movieguide® recently reported on Wilson:
NFL quarterback Russell Wilson has joined pastor and high school football coach Denny Duron in the new Amazon Freevee series GOD. FAMILY. FOOTBALL.
“I can’t even tell you what it means to have Russell Wilson involved,” Duron said. “Russell really, really loves Jesus and is so open about his faith. My conversation with him just a couple of weeks ago was fire. I mean, he is so excited about this. I think he was more fired up than I was, honestly…”
“What drew me to this project and inspired me to help tell GOD. FAMILY. FOOTBALL’S story of teamwork, hard work, and discipline was coach Duron’s faith-first approach to the game,” the quarterback told Amazon Studios.
“Football has been a constant in my life ever since I was a kid,” Wilson shared in an Instagram post. “But my faith and my family have been there with me from the beginning…that’s why I’m so inspired by the story Evangel Christian Academy and what they teach to their players—God, family, football.”
