Bruce Willis’ Daughter Shares Joyful Photos with Dad: ‘Love This Guy So Much’

Tallulah Willis recently shared some precious photos of herself with her father, DIE HARD actor Bruce Willis, who is battling frontotemporal dementia.

“Hey I love this guy so much and feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it!” she captioned the photos. “From the forever archives ?.”

The first photo shows Willis planting a kiss on her head, the next one is a selfie of them both smiling and the third is a picture of Willis with a scrapbook full of snippets of himself on magazine covers.

Tallulah’s mom and former wife of Willis, Demi Moore, previously gave an update to GMA: “I think, given the givens, he’s doing very well. What I’ll say is what I say to my children, which is it’s important to just meet them where they’re at and not hold onto what isn’t, because there’s great beauty and sweetness and loving and joy out of that.”

Movieguide reported on Willis and Tallulah on Sept. 20:

He’s doing stable, which, in this situation, is good and it’s hard,” Tallulah said. “There’s painful days. But there is so much love. And it’s really shown me not to take any moment for granted. And I really do think that we’d be best friends. I think he’s very proud of me.”

In a Vogue article she wrote last year, she revealed that Willis “still knows who I am and lights up when I enter the room.”

“He may always know who I am, give or take the occasional bad day. One difference between FTD and Alzheimer’s dementia is that, at least early in the disease, the former is characterized by language and motor deficits, while the latter features more memory loss,” she added. “I keep flipping between the present and the past when I talk about Bruce: he is, he was, he is, he was. That’s because I have hopes for my father that I’m so reluctant to let go of.”

The actress and artist sees Willis as often as possible.

She told PEOPLE that she tries to keep an open mind and that it’s important for her “to go into it open to what the visit is, and knowing that before I go in, I’m solid. I’m okay,” she said. “I’ve done what I need to do to make sure that I can just be present.”

“I have hopes for my father that I’m so reluctant to let go of. I’ve always recognized elements of his personality in me, and I just know that we’d be such good friends if only there were more time,” Tallulah said previously.
